About the Event

Time: 5:00 - 7:00 PM

Location: Lighthouse

You are warmly invited to take part in a transformative journey of metabolizing collective grief and cultivating active hope.

In four bi-weekly gatherings, we will create a braver space where grief for our world, along with its full spectrum of emotions will be invited and honored.

Participants will be guided through activities from Joanna Macy’s Work that Reconnects. Each gathering will offer ways to travel through a journey of gratitude, honoring the pain, seeing with new eyes, and discovering ways to move forward.

Through somatic practice, ritual and deep listening in pairs, small groups, and as a whole circle, we’ll tend to what breaks our hearts open—and ideally discover the active hope that lives on the other side of our grief.

Facilitated by members of the Grief Team:

Sally Miller (counselor and co-lead of circles of in eco-spirituality, shadow work, and expressive arts)

Lynne Michelson (psychotherapist, embodied mindfulness teacher, and Group as Hearth facilitator)

Kathryn Blau (Ancestral Healing Practitioner, circle facilitator, and tender of cycles and thresholds)

Along with Operational Weaver Sandra Diaz (yoga teacher, facilitator of ecstatic dance and sangha gatherings)
